I created a Bluesky account a while back. I was curious about the differences between ActivityPub and ATProto. Mastodon has been a bit of a slow burner, but in the last two weeks, lots of old evolutionary computing friends have shown up in Bluesky. Still not sure what I’ll post. Will I crosspost to the increasing number of networks? Will bridges like skybridge enable better experiences across all? I guess we’ll learn soon. ...

I was curious, so I finally created an account. I’m still not sure what is the best server to join, and I’m not going to run my own instance, but I ended with @xllora@mastodon.social.
